week eight – shortcrust pastry à la rahel

it’s a quiche! a chard (or swiss chard? but why swiss? if anybody knows, please, enlighten me.) and feta quiche, to be exact. it was crispy and moist, tart and just the right amount of salty. simple, but tasty. over and out.

(because i had some leftover pastry and there was room for dessert (i mean, who am i kidding – there’s always room for dessert!), i made two very simple sweet mini versions as well. one with an apple that had to be eaten and one with gooseberries i found in the freezer. fancy-schmancy.)
